How recipes are made

Technology may be used during research and drafting, but every recipe is reviewed and edited by a human — me, Sahil — before it appears on Fridge to Fryer. That review covers ingredient quantities, cooking temperature and timing, clarity of the steps, and food-safety guidance.

How recipes are selected

Recipes are chosen to fit the site's focus: dishes that work well in a home air fryer, spanning Indian, Arabic, Western and East Asian cooking, using ingredients that are realistic to have on hand.

How times and temperatures are set

Cooking times and temperatures reflect standard home air fryer settings. Actual results can vary by air fryer model, basket size and portion thickness, so recipes include practical doneness cues (what to look for, when to check early) rather than treating the stated time as exact for every appliance.

How nutrition is estimated

Nutrition figures are calculated estimates based on standard ingredient data, not laboratory analysis. They will vary with the exact brands, quantities and substitutions used, and are labelled as estimates throughout the site.

Corrections

If a recipe doesn't work as described, or you spot an error, contact us and it will be reviewed and corrected. Recipes carry a "reviewed and updated" note reflecting the most recent editorial pass.
