Home / East Asian / Veg Spring Rolls
Air fry veg spring rolls at 200°C (392°F) for 9 minutes.
Spring roll sheets are thin enough that hot air alone can drive off their moisture and blister them crisp, which is why they don't need the deep pool of oil a wok-fry would use. Because the filling is already cooked, the air fryer's job is really just to crisp and colour the wrapper without overcooking what's inside.
Tip: Cool the filling fully. Warm filling makes the sheets tear.
Estimated from standard ingredient data — actual values vary by brand and exact quantities used.
Serving: Pair with a bowl of nuoc cham or sweet chilli sauce and a small plate of pickled carrot and cucumber, Vietnamese-style.
Storage: Best eaten fresh since the wrapper is fried for crunch; if you must store leftovers, keep 1–2 days in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer at 200°C for 4 minutes, knowing the shell won't fully regain its original snap.
