Air fry frozen punjabi-style samosa at 180°C (356°F) for 16 minutes.
Punjabi samosas are much thicker than the small cocktail kind - if a recipe's times look short, it's probably written for those, not this size.

Ingredients
600 g large frozen Punjabi-style samosas (about 6), straight from the freezer
Green chutney or tamarind chutney, to serve (optional)
Sliced onion, to serve (optional)
Oil spray
Steps
Take the samosas straight from frozen - don't thaw, or the thick pastry turns doughy before the air fryer can crisp it.
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C for 3 minutes.
Spray all over with oil - the thick pastry needs a proper coating to crisp rather than just dry out.
Arrange in a single layer with space between each samosa.
Air fry for 10 minutes, then turn each one over.
Air fry a further 6 minutes (16 minutes total), checking one is piping hot in the centre before pulling the rest - the pastry is thick, so a cold centre is the main way these go wrong.
If the centre's still cool, give them another 2-3 minutes rather than turning up the heat, which will burn the outside before the inside catches up.
Rest for 2 minutes, then serve with chutney and sliced onion.
Tip: Punjabi samosas are much thicker than the small cocktail kind - if a recipe's times look short, it's probably written for those, not this size.
