Air fry frozen shami kebab at 190°C (374°F) for 12 minutes.
Shami kebabs are softer than seekh kebabs going in - if one breaks while flipping, don't worry, just cook the pieces a little longer since they're already fully formed underneath.

Ingredients
300 g frozen shami kebabs (about 8 patties), straight from the freezer
Sliced onion and green chutney, to serve (optional)
Oil spray
Steps
Take the shami kebabs straight from frozen - they're delicate, and thawing first makes them fall apart in the basket.
Preheat the air fryer to 190°C for 3 minutes.
Spray both sides lightly with oil.
Lay the patties flat in a single layer with a little space around each one.
Air fry for 6 minutes, then flip each patty carefully with a flat spatula rather than tongs, which can crack them.
Air fry a further 5-6 minutes (about 12 minutes total) until firm and golden on both sides.
Let them sit for a minute - they firm up further as they cool, which helps them hold together when serving.
Serve with sliced onion and green chutney.
Tip: Shami kebabs are softer than seekh kebabs going in - if one breaks while flipping, don't worry, just cook the pieces a little longer since they're already fully formed underneath.
