Air fry batata harra at 200°C (392°F) for 20 minutes.
Add the raw garlic after cooking, not before - garlic burns and turns bitter long before the potatoes are done at air fryer temperatures.

Ingredients
4 potatoes, cut into 2 cm cubes
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 tbsp chopped coriander (optional)
1 tsp chilli flakes or red chilli powder (optional)
Juice of ½ lemon (optional)
Salt, 2 tbsp oil
Steps
Toss the potato cubes with 1 tbsp of the oil and salt until evenly coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C, then air fry the potatoes for 10 minutes.
Shake the basket and air fry a further 8-10 minutes until deep golden and crisp on the outside, tender inside.
While the potatoes cook, stir the garlic and chilli into the remaining 1 tbsp oil.
As soon as the potatoes come out, toss them straight through the garlic-chilli oil while hot - the heat mellows the raw garlic just enough without cooking it through.
Finish with lemon juice and coriander, and serve immediately.
Tip: Add the raw garlic after cooking, not before - garlic burns and turns bitter long before the potatoes are done at air fryer temperatures.
