Air fry frozen fatayer at 190°C (374°F) for 12 minutes.
Check the folded seams, not just the flat faces - that's the thickest part of a fatayer and the last place to cook through, so a golden top doesn't always mean it's done inside.

Ingredients
400 g frozen fatayer (about 10 triangles), straight from the freezer
Plain yogurt or garlic yogurt dip, to serve (optional)
Lemon wedges, to serve (optional)
Oil spray
Steps
Take the fatayer straight from frozen - thawing first can make the sealed edges soften and pop open before the pastry crisps.
Preheat the air fryer to 190°C for 3 minutes.
Spray both sides lightly with oil.
Arrange in a single layer with a little space between each triangle so the folded edges get air too.
Air fry for 6 minutes, then flip each one over gently with a spatula, keeping the sealed seam intact.
Air fry a further 5-6 minutes (about 12 minutes total) until golden brown and crisp, with no pale, doughy patches on the folds.
Rest for a minute, then serve warm with a yogurt dip and lemon wedges.
Tip: Check the folded seams, not just the flat faces - that's the thickest part of a fatayer and the last place to cook through, so a golden top doesn't always mean it's done inside.
