Air fry sweet potato wedges at 200°C (392°F) for 16 minutes.
Sweet potatoes have a lot more natural sugar than regular potatoes, so the air fryer's dry heat caramelizes their cut edges into something almost dessert-like while the inside stays soft. They make a good stand-in side when you want something a little sweeter next to grilled or spiced meat.

Ingredients
2 sweet potatoes, cut into wedges
1 tsp paprika (optional)
A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
1 tsp honey, to drizzle (optional)
1 tbsp oil, salt
Steps
Cut the sweet potatoes into even wedges so they all finish cooking at the same time.
In a bowl, mix the oil, paprika, cinnamon and salt together.
Toss the wedges through the spiced oil until every piece is coated.
Preheat the air fryer and arrange the wedges in a single layer, cut side down where possible for better contact with the basket.
Air fry at 200°C for 8 minutes.
Shake or flip the wedges and air fry another 8 minutes (16 minutes total), checking at the 12-minute mark since sweet potato browns faster than regular potato.
Look for deeply browned edges and pierce the thickest wedge with a fork - it should slide in easily.
Tip the wedges onto a plate and drizzle with honey right away if using, since it firms up fast as they cool.
Serve hot.
Tip: Sweet potatoes burn faster than regular potatoes, so check at 12 min.

Serving & Storage
Serving: Serve alongside grilled chicken or a burger, or with a small bowl of cool yogurt for dipping.
Storage: Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 2 days and reheat in the air fryer at 180°C for 3–4 min; microwaving turns the caramelized edges soft and wet.
